Dr. Victor Afamefuna Egwuonwu is an Adjunct SENIOR LECTURER in the Department of PHYSIOTHERAPY, College ff Health Science and Technology, Evangel University, Akaeze, Ebonyi State. Research interests: Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Ergonomics. Membership of Professional Bodies; He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Physiotherapy, Nigerian Ergonomics Society, where he is currently serving the organisation as the National Secretary. Dr Egwuonwu is also a member of the South African Ergonomics Society and a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the United Kingdom Physiotherapists Union.

Brief Biography

I am a Professor of Neurological Physiotherapy, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) from 1st October, 2021. I hold Ph.D in Exercise Physiology, Ebonyi State University (2015) and Ph.D in Neurological Physiotherapy, UNN (2014). I am an Adjunct Professor with Physiotherapy Department, Evangel University, Ebonyi State and have worked with the university from May, 2021 to Date. I am also a visiting Professor with Gregory University, Abia State from 2019 to Date. I am currently the Associate Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences and Technology, UNN (1st August, 2022 to July, 2024).

Mr. Chukwu, Ogbu Odochi

Brief Biography

Mr. Chukwu, Ogbu Odochi a vibrant young scholar, holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Physiology (2nd class upper division) and emerged not only as the best graduating student of the Department of Physiology, but also as the second best graduating student of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences. He holds a M.Sc. degree in Physiology, completed in 2019, from AE-FUNAI, where he emerged as the first M.Sc. graduate of the University. He also holds a M.Sc. degree in Pharmacology and Therapeutics of Ebonyi State University. He is currently awaiting External Examination for Ph.D in Physiology (Reproduction).

I am a thorough bred clinical physiotherapist who rose through the ranks to the position of Director of Physiotherapy at Enugu State University Teaching Hospital, Park Lane, Enugu before joining the faculty at Evangel University Akaeze, Ebonyi State in October, 2022. Upon graduation as a Physiotherapist, I had my internship training at the National Hospital, Abuja and thereafter became a Sole Physiotherapists at the then General hospital, Park Lane which later metamorphoses into a teaching hospital.

Brief Biography

I am interested in academic activities (discussion and studies) that connects Health and Social Sciences. I am passionate about Ageing Studies and Elderly Care and Mental Health, hence my clinical and academic practices revolved around GERIATRICS and GERONTOLOGY. Areas of interest: chronic diseases, palliative care, physical activities, disability, health service and public theory. I am open to interdisciplinary studies that relates to any of my areas of interest.

Onu Linda Onuchukwu

Brief Biography

I graduated as a Physiotherapist from The University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus in 2007 with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physiotherapy degree and after the 2 years of internship and mandatory National Youth service training, I began working as a rotational physiotherapist at Enugu State University Teaching Hospital. After confirmation of my service, I went on to obtain Master of Science degrees in Medical Rehabilitation (Physiotherapy) and Anatomy (Human Anatomy) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in 2014 and 2017 respectively. I am at present, in my last year of study for a Doctor of philosophy (Ph.D) degree in human Anatomy.
