Had her education in Nigeria up to doctorate degree in Nursing. In clinical experience, she rose from the level of staff nurse/midwife to director of Nursing in 2016 in Enugu State Ministry of Health, Nigeria.

Dr Chidinma Israel is currently an adjunct lecturer 1 at the Evangel University, Akaeze, Ebonyi State. She has expertise in Maternal and Child Health Nursing in which she has studied up to the doctoral level. As a researcher, she has published papers in impact factor journals on topics ranging from maternal and child health nursing, adolescent health issues and general nursing.
