The Department has fully equipped laboratory with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and Materials. The Department has well-spaced classrooms, lecture theaters and seminar rooms.

Prof. Moses Alo has B.Sc Microbiology from the University of Lagos Nigeria in 1989, Master of Science (M.Sc) in Immunology from Ebonyi State University in 2005 , Doctorate degree (P.hD) in Medical Microbiology from the Ebonyi State University in 2009.

Dr. Blessing Esose Eromonsele

Brief Biography
Dr Eromonsele Blessing Osose, obtained her bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria, a master's degree in Medical Microbiology from Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, Nigeria and she also holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Microbiology (Ph.D). She joined Evangel University Akaeze in 2012 as a Laboratory Technologist II and got converted to Assitant Lecturer in 2017.

Dr. Onyebuchi Collins Okafor

Brief Biography
Okafor Collins Onyebuchi Okeke is a Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology, College of Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Microbiology and has a background in Epidemiology/Public Health Microbiology and for several years specialized in teaching Microbiology to undergraduate students.
He has taught Microbiology at Evangel University Akaeze and has research experience in both medical and environmental microbiology. He is currently teaching Environmental Microbiology and Epidemiology.
Dr. Kenneth Ndidi Ovia

Brief Biography
Dr. Kenneth Ovia joined Evangel University Akaeze as a Graduate Assistance in the Department of Microbiology, College of Science in 2018. Currently he is Lecturer one and Auxiliary Lecturer in Entrepreneurship Development Center (EUA). Dr. Kenneth Graduated and Received his M.Sc and Ph.D in Microbiology at Ebonyi State University (EBSU) PhD in the year 2014 and 2020 respectively. His first Degree is also in Microbiology at University of Benin (UNIBEN) in the year 1996.

Ikechukwu Okoroafor holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Microbiology from Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, Nigeria and also a master’s degree in Food Microbiology from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. .
